Mira Mira is a U.S.-based nonprofit that partners with trusted local leaders in Iquitos, Peru.

Through your generosity, we support Hogar Genesis (a children’s home), Bélen Kids (education programs and schooling), and Street Ministry in Iquitos that meet children and families with safety, education, and hope.

WHAT WE SUPPORT

At the heart of Mira Mira is a safe, nurturing home for children who have experienced hardship or instability. Here, they receive not only shelter and basic needs, but also the love, structure, and emotional support essential for healing and growth. It’s a place where kids are seen, valued, and empowered to dream beyond their circumstances. Currently, there are 17 girls, ages 6 months to 14 years at Hogar Genesis.

Through compassionate and consistent street outreach, we meet people where they are—offering everything from haircuts and hot meals to coffee and conversation infused with the hope of the gospel. Whether someone is struggling with addiction, homelessness, or simply in need of connection, we provide meals, hygiene supplies, emotional support, and genuine friendship—reminding each person that they are not alone, and that their life matters.
